Organic, Ceremonial Grade, green tea powder from Kyushu Island, Japan
Net weight 1.05 oz (30 grams) of green tea powder.
Method of preparation: whisk 1/3 of teaspoon of matcha per 2 fl. oz. of fresh water at 170*F to make a foamy liquid.
Matcha is made by grinding tea leaves in to a fine powder. In early May tea leaves are picked, then steamed, cooled and dried. Traditionally it takes an hour to make a 30 grams of Matcha powder and because matcha degrades quickly once it comes in contact with air, it is packed in to air tight containers.
